Welcome to Dr. West Wellness. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products, including in-person consultations, telehealth consultations, and nutritional supplements offered or recommended by Dr. Brian West, D.C., M.S., DACBN (“Dr. West,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Dr. West provides chiropractic and functional wellness consultations in Montgomery, AL, and nationwide via telehealth. Our focus is on education, lifestyle modification, and nutritional support.

Important: Dr. West does not act as a primary care physician and does not diagnose, treat, or cure conditions regulated under state medical boards. Our services are intended to complement, not replace, care from your licensed healthcare provider.

2. Supplements & Disclosures

• Supplements are provided through trusted professional sources.

• These products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

• Recommendations are based on Dr. West’s clinical training and experience.

• Patients should consult with their licensed healthcare provider before beginning any new supplement program.

3. Insurance & Payment

• Our office operates on a flat-rate fee schedule for consultations and services.

• We do not bill insurance directly. Instead, we provide you with a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company.

• If your insurance reimburses you, you keep 100% of that reimbursement.

• Payment in full is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

• Supplements and non-covered services are the responsibility of the patient.

4. Telehealth Services

By using telehealth services, you agree and understand that:

• Telehealth may not be appropriate for every condition.

• You must be located in a state where Dr. West is permitted to provide care.

• We comply with HIPAA, state laws, and privacy requirements for telehealth delivery.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Consultation fees are non-refundable once a session occurs.

• Supplements may be returned unopened within 15 days of purchase. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

• Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice to avoid a missed appointment fee.

6. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use our services for lawful and appropriate purposes.

• Not rely on our content or products as a substitute for professional medical advice.

• Provide accurate, complete information when scheduling appointments or making purchases.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Dr. West Wellness is not liable for damages arising from use of our services or products.

• No specific outcomes or results are guaranteed.

• Patients remain responsible for their health decisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with an effective date. Continued use of services means you accept the revised Terms.
